We spent a few truly special days at Blue Tree Premium Manaus, and we immediately knew we must recommend it to our readers. The hotel looks just like the photos: modern, cozy, and well-maintained. We loved having everything on-site, from the pool with a gorgeous city view and gym to the spa and playground.

What really stood out to us was the team. Everyone we interacted with was kind, attentive, and consistently helpful throughout our stay. Housekeeping deserves a special mention! Our room was spotless every single day, clearly cleaned with care and attention to detail. It made such a difference coming back to a perfectly organized space and feeling comfortable.

And then there was breakfast. It was big, delicious, and served in a pleasant environment that made mornings feel extra enjoyable. The star of the show for us was the tapioca with tucumã and white cheese. They’re absolutely a must-try and something we’re still thinking about.

We stayed at Hotel Pousada Margem da Amazônia because we wanted to be close to nature, and it turned out to be exactly that kind of place. Best for Families. We didn’t come to Búri Resort expecting a perfect family stay, but that was exactly what we got. Within the first hour, the kids had claimed the pool as their territory, and we had figured out where the good lounging spots were.

When we say our stay was effortless, we really mean it. Our mornings were always slow. We had breakfast without stress, and our kids were always busy playing in the room or in the pool while we did nothing. The pool setup made it easy to keep an eye on everyone without hovering. Having food on site was amazing, too.

Traveling can be exhausting, but the staff at Intercity Manaus made all that fade away as soon as we arrived. The reception team was kind, efficient, and clearly knew what they were doing, which made everything smooth from the start.

Our Premium Double Room was another surprise. It was both massive and cozy, with a super comfortable bed that made us nap longer than we planned to. Since work never really pauses for us, we loved having a proper desk that actually worked for getting things done.

We also enjoyed the mornings we spent at the hotel. There was plenty of variety on the buffet, and the made-to-order tapioquinhas and stuffed omelets were to die for. We even received little motivational phrases to start the day on a good note! We also made good use of the gym, which was very clean and well-equipped. Finally, make sure to order some fresh drinks from the pool bar.

We were picked up by the hotel team, greeted with a refreshing welcome drink, and immediately walked through a well-organized plan for our stay. Everything was mapped out from day one, including boat rides, canoeing, and jungle walks, so we could just relax and enjoy the experience.

The food was another highlight. We started with an à la carte meal on our first day and enjoyed a generous buffet the next, sampling plenty of regional Amazonian dishes along the way. Since the resort is all-inclusive, we never had to think twice about meals or snacks. Everything was covered, and everything we tried was ridiculously delicious.

The resort is stunning, floating peacefully on the river and surrounded by nothing but nature. Our room had sweeping river views, which guaranteed a good night’s sleep. One small but important tip: keep your windows closed at night. You’re in the heart of the rainforest, and nature definitely knows how to sneak in. Bugs aside, it’s all part of the magic, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

For a city stay, convenience matters, and you can’t go wrong with Mercure Manaus. The hotel is located in Adrianópolis, which makes it one of the best centrally located hotels in the city. We could walk or hop on public transport to shopping malls, restaurants, and nightlife without much planning.

When we weren’t out exploring Manaus, the hotel gave us plenty of ways to unwind. We loved to spend our spare timeby the outdoor pool and ended a couple of long days rotating in the sauna. The gym was also nice for a quick workout. The on-site restaurant and bar were also great, especially the big breakfast spread.

We booked a Superior Queen Room, and it was much more spacious than we expected. It had everything we needed, but the star of the show was the kitchenette. It allowed us to whip up simple meals. And with parquet floors and city views, you’ll never want to leave this hotel.

This floating hotel glides along the Solimões and Negro rivers, giving you a front-row seat to the Amazon Rainforest, one of the most unique forests around the world, and the riverside life that depends on it. With departures twice a week, on Mondays and Fridays, it’s surprisingly easy to fit into a travel plan, whether you’re going for a shorter escape or a full week of adventure.

Our life on board was a mix of comfort and discovery. Between excursions, we found ourselves hopping between the pools, the hot tub, and occasionally the gym to justify dessert later. In the evenings, there were folk performances and talks about Amazon wildlife. The tour desk kept our days busy with boat trips, jungle walks, and the unforgettable experience of spotting pink river dolphins is definitely something you’ll want to book ahead. And when it comes to accommodation, we were impressed with our cabin. It was big, and we even had a private balcony.

The all-inclusive setup made everything feel effortless. We never worried about meals or drinks. There are two restaurants and two bars that serve everything from regional Amazonian flavors to familiar international dishes. Exotic cocktails somehow tasted even better while drifting down the river, and room service was there when we felt like staying in. Depending on how much time you have, you can choose a three-night Solimões route, a four-night Negro River journey, or go all in with a seven-night combination of both. Since we weren’t in a rush, we chose the full seven-night voyage.

We’re sure you’ll also love Hotel Saint Paul. This hotel put us right in the middle of Manaus without the chaos. We were just steps from the Museu Amazônico and a quick stroll to the Amazon Theatre. There’s also a bus stop around the corner, so getting around the city was always easy, even on days we didn’t feel like walking far.

The rooms here are super comfortable. We had lightning-fast Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV for entertainment, and a balcony, a.k.a our favorite morning spot. We stayed in one of the higher rooms, and we couldn’t stop talking about the jaw-dropping views. You should definitely book a room that overlooks the Amazon Theatre.

Rounding out the stay were the amenities. We were pampered with a generous breakfast buffet every morning, and the on-site restaurant is great for when you don’t feel like venturing out. We also took advantage of the outdoor pool to cool off, and the sauna and gym were great extras that we highly appreciated.

Tropical Executive Hotel

When we first arrived at Tropical Executive Hotel, we immediately loved the setting. It’s set next to Ponta Negra Beach, with the Negro River right there stealing the show. That alone is already mindblowing! But as one of the best 5-star hotels in Manaus, Brazil, it’s not just about location.

For our stay, we booked the Premium Room, and it was everything we ever wanted. We had reliable Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV, and a mini fridge, which honestly covered everything we needed. We also had room service, which was amazing. The cherry on top, though, was the river view!

Now, let’s talk about the amenities. Breakfast was included and was honestly delicious, and having parking on-site was super convenient. We liked winding down at the casual restaurant and grabbing drinks at the lobby bar, and the gym and sauna were a bonus when we wanted to reset. The highlight, though, was the outdoor pool overlooking the river. You must float there at sunset!

Juma Ópera Boutique Hotel & Spa

Best for Amazon Theatre. If you’re in Manaus for the opera house, you should stay at Juma Ópera Boutique Hotel & Spa. This charming hotel is set directly across from the Amazon Theatre. Its central location also allowed us to explore the city conveniently. We walked to most of the main sights, including the port, the market, and the cathedral.

The hotel itself felt like what you’d expect from a boutique property: small, comfortable, and nicely put together. Our Premium Room had an opera house view and a Juliet balcony, which was fantastic. The room wasn’t large, but it was well-furnished and had a spotless bathroom. The bed was very comfortable as well.

Dinner was a highlight of the stay. We had filet mignon with a regional fruit sauce, followed by churros with another fruit sauce and Brazil nut ice cream. We couldn’t have enough! The hotel also has a fitness room, a swimming pool, and a spa, which were nice options to have.

Best Location. There’s a lot to love about Hotel Villa Amazônia. Of course, one of its biggest perks is its location. The hotel sits right in the historic center of Manaus, meaning we could get around with ease. We enjoy walking when we travel, and from the hotel we could reach several key sights on foot, including Mirante Lúcia Almeida and the Adolpho Lisboa Market, both roughly a 15-minute walk away.

For our three-night stay, we booked a Standard Room, which met our expectations. The room and bathroom were both huge and comfortable. The amenities were great too, as we were spoiled with Phytoervas products, and we especially appreciated having filtered drinking water available in the room.

Throughout our stay, breakfast was consistently good. There was a wide selection that included plenty of regional items. We also had dinner at the hotel restaurant one night and were impressed. The food was well prepared, flavorful, and served in big portions. For relaxation, you can enjoy the pool with palm trees, and you must try the jambu caipirinha. There’s also a small gym on site, too.
