Others were built in the Old Cappadocian stone style, giving us that same cave-like charm but with a slightly different twist. Whether it’s a standard cave room or one of their deluxe suites, no two spaces look or feel alike.

Best Luxury. Nothing really prepared us for how special Kayakapi Premium Caves Hotel, one of the best luxury cave hotels in Cappadocia, would feel. Perched on the hillside above Ürgüp, this place is part of a UNESCO-supported restoration project, which already tells you it’s something unique. When we first arrived, we were awed by how seamlessly the hotel blended romance, history, and comfort.
Our cave suite was beyond anything we’d imagined. It was rustic but luxurious at the same time. Every suite has its own personality, and ours had a cozy fireplace and a stone bathtub that honestly felt fit for royalty. Some of the other rooms even come with private hammam saunas or sunny terraces with sweeping views over the valley.
The food scene here deserves its own spotlight. Revithia, Cappadocia’s first tasting-menu restaurant, made dining feel like an experience in itself. Every course celebrated local flavors with a creative twist, and it ended up being one of the absolute highlights of our stay. What we loved most, though, was how easy it was to explore from here.
