We were glad we had the chance to stay at the Sheraton Zürich Hotel. Yes, it’s not exactly in the city center. However, it offered us excellent tram access, which made commutes to meetings and the city’s major attractions seamless.
The standout feature for us was undoubtedly the hotel’s high-tech meeting facilities. The flexibility of the 8 event rooms, which could be configured for both independent and combined use, allowed us to tailor our meeting space to the specific requirements of our event. The expert advice was also invaluable in ensuring a productive meeting.
Apart from the meeting rooms, the hotel offered a pleasant dining experience with its Swiss restaurant, complete with a show kitchen and terrace. We also loved our time at the bar, which was a convenient spot for business talks.

We particularly appreciated the Atelier, a versatile ground-floor space that accommodated our small meeting perfectly. You can also use the Freiraum, a more formal meeting room for up to 60. The complimentary bike hire was also brilliant, allowing us to navigate Zurich’s streets efficiently between appointments.
However, this gay-friendly hotel in Zurich isn’t all work and no play. The quirky train-spotting sauna provided us with a unique relaxation experience, and the events, such as the artist-in-residence talks, added a cultural dimension to our stay.

The readily available power sockets, quality coffee, and snacks further enhanced our productivity, making it a truly functional and engaging space for business travelers.
However, the heart of the hotel has to be the rooftop thermal pool. It was our favorite spot on the property to relax. The views from up there were mesmerizing. Also, the hotel is only a quick 20-minute stroll down to the lake. Another opportunity to witness Zurich’s natural beauty!

Stepping into the hotel felt less like arriving at a corporate establishment and more like entering a stylish, welcoming home. While slightly removed from the city center, the quick and convenient bus and tram access made navigating Zurich a breeze.

Starting our day with a calming yoga session overlooking the serene birch garden was a fantastic way to de-stress before diving into work. The versatile restaurant, which can also be turned into a workspace, was an ideal spot for both focused work and informal meetings. While you’re there, make sure to order the Plättli meat and cheese boards.
However, the real highlight was returning to our two-level courtyard room. The unique setting, within a former factory, offered a distinct and memorable experience. The combination of modern design and industrial charm created a relaxing atmosphere, allowing us to recharge.
