Most Beautiful. When we arrived on Brac, we thought we knew what to expect. However, Hotel Lemongarden, one of the top 5 star beach hotels in Croatia, surprised us in the best way. Hidden in the sleepy fishing village of Sutivan, this place is like a secret garden. Three old stone houses, lovingly restored, wrap around a lush courtyard that smells of lemons and sea breeze (hence, the name).

We would start most of our days with breakfast under the bougainvillea, then lounge by the pool surrounded by roses and palms. The whole place hums with calm. There were no kids, no crowds. You can tell the owners are nature lovers, as every corner feels hand-tended. The chef, Ante Udovičić, brings that same care to the food. One bite of grilled fish with lemon from the garden, and we were hooked.

We have a feeling you’ll love Hotel Aria just as much as we do. The location couldn’t be more perfect, as it’s just steps from the beach and only a short, scenic walk to the charming old town. The design here is sleek and modern, with lots of natural light and airy spaces that are perfect for relaxation. Our room, as you can see below, was surprisingly spacious, with all the little touches that make a stay feel effortlessly luxurious.

A luxury hotel won’t be the same without a delectable, complimentary breakfast. We enjoyed the fresh and generous spread. From flaky pastries to fruit and strong coffee, we had everything. After a few hours of exploring, we loved coming back to unwind by the rooftop pool. That said, the rooftop terrace really is the hotel’s crown jewel. It’s where we spent most of our downtime, soaking up those sunset views.

When we weren’t poolside, we found ourselves lounging in the hotel’s chic bar or sneaking in a quick workout at the gym (to balance out all the local food). Days here were a blur of sunshine, sea breezes, and pure, uncomplicated fun. Our kids were obsessed with the cascading pools and water slides, giving us adults a rare chance to actually finish our drinks while they played. Speaking of drinks, the swim-up bar was our guilty pleasure. Nothing says “vacation” quite like sipping a cold cocktail in the pool while chatting with new friends from across the globe. When we arrived, we immediately dropped our bags and headed straight to the balcony. It’s just a short drive from Split’s old town, too. We could easily explore the cobblestone streets and lively cafes.

One of our favorite spots quickly became the Mistral Beach Club, which honestly feels like an upgrade to the usual Split beach scene. Picture comfy cabanas, crystal-clear water, and a front-row view of boats gliding across the Adriatic, but without the crowds. We spent hours lounging there, sipping cool drinks, and enjoying that private-beach feel you rarely find in summer.

When we needed a little extra pampering, the resort’s spa and wellness area was the icing on the cake. Between dips in the pool, time in the sauna, and a blissful massage or two, we felt completely recharged. Everything about Radisson Blu made our stay in Split feel effortless and indulgent.

We arrived at Villa Dubrovnik after a breezy walk along the coastline. The private beach is just gorgeous. It’s our favorite spot to spend an afternoon with a cocktail. And speaking of cocktails, the Gooshter Beach Club is the place to be. It’s stylish, lively, and serves some of the best drinks and seafood we had on the Dalmatian coast.

Our room was pure coastal bliss. Think floor-to-ceiling windows, a breezy boho vibe, and a balcony overlooking the Adriatic. The décor is effortlessly chic, but with warm textures and details that make it homey. Every inch of Le Meridien seems designed with care, from the light-filled lobby to the cozy lounge corners that invite you to just sit back and take in the view.

What really impressed us, though, was how complete the resort experience felt. Best Location. We couldn’t have picked a better spot in Dubrovnik if we tried. Hotel Excelsior sits right on the water’s edge, gazing straight at the Old Town. Every time we walked through the lobby, we had to stop to take another photo of that view. Yet, the city is temptingly close: a breezy five-minute stroll gets you to Ploče Gate.

When we weren’t gawking at the view, we were bouncing between the hotel’s spa and the sea. There’s a sleek indoor pool that’s just the right temperature for lingering, but the real treat is the Adriatic itself, which is just steps away. Sure, the beach is rocky, but the loungers, clear turquoise water, and beachside restaurant more than make up for it. After a swim, we visited the spa center with a Finnish sauna, a Roman bath, and a jacuzzi.

Furthermore, we stayed in one of the Superior Rooms in the historic Villa Odak, specifically number 208. It had high ceilings, an antique carpet, a private terrace overlooking the sea, and a bathtub.
