We were able to walk to pretty much everything, from the Capitol building to Old Sacramento, and the Amtrak station was only a few minutes away on foot.

Afterward, we made our way up to the Clayton Club rooftop bar and ended the night with craft cocktails, some delicious small bites, and a view that stretched across the city. As for the room? We stayed in a Capitol Dome View Room, and it didn’t disappoint. It was spacious and tastefully decorated with little jazz-inspired details that gave it a sense of place.
