We genuinely think Quebec City hasn’t received the flowers it deserves. Cobblestone streets, French-inspired cafes, and postcard-perfect views of Château Frontenac—this hotel is like a storybook. But if you’re anything like us, you know that where you stay can either elevate that magic or take you completely out of it. But you don’t have to worry, as we have compiled a list of the best Marriott hotels in Quebec City.
Some of these hotels offer sweeping river views, others tuck you right into the downtown’s rhythm. There are places for skiers, design nerds, and families trying to find that balance between comfort and location. We stayed, tested, and analyzed, and now we’ve narrowed it down to the six that actually made our trip better.

So, whether you’re planning a cozy winter escape or a sunny summer walk along Terrasse Dufferin, these are the Marriott spots worth checking into. Let’s get into the ones that really stood out!
Quebec City, at a Glance
Quebec City is where Old World charm meets North American ease. Perched above the St. Lawrence River, this UNESCO-listed gem reminds us of a European village, but without the transatlantic flight. Travelers come for the romantic streets of Old Quebec, the towering Château Frontenac, and the rich French-Canadian culture that pulses through every boulangerie, boutique, and festival. Whether you’re strolling along the fortified city walls, diving into the food scene, or heading out to nearby natural escapes like Montmorency Falls or Île d’Orléans, Quebec City has a way of making even short stays feel unforgettable.
Delta Hotels by Marriott Mont Sainte-Anne
6
Best Resort. Want to stay in a Quebec City resort? The Delta Hotels by Marriott Mont Sainte-Anne is the number one option. Nestled right at the base of Mont Sainte-Anne, the views alone made us feel like we were in a nature-lover’s dream. Waking up to a backdrop of towering mountains was nothing short of magical, and knowing we were only a short drive from both Québec City’s old-world charm and the slopes of Le Massif gave us the best of both worlds.

What really sold us on this resort, though, was how much there was to do. Even though we came for a bit of quiet, we couldn’t resist jumping into summer activities: hiking trails just steps from the lobby, mountain biking straight from the door, and an inviting outdoor pool to cool down in afterward.

We stayed in the King Studio, and it quickly became our cozy little mountain base. The room had that balance of comfort and functionality we really appreciate, especially the kitchenette setup with a microwave, a fridge, and a toaster. We also loved having streaming services on the TV, which made our evenings feel so relaxing.

Courtyard by Marriott Quebec City

Best Budget. We stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott Quebec City for a few days, and right from the start, we appreciated how perfectly it was situated. This hotel is tucked in the Lebourgneuf district, between the airport and downtown. It gave us easy access to everything we wanted to see, from the energy of Centre Videotron to the shops at Galeries de la Capitale.
Each morning started with breakfast and Starbucks coffee downstairs, and in the evenings, we hung out at the on-site restaurant for a cocktail or two. We didn’t use the meeting spaces ourselves, but we could see how they’d be great for business or small events. That said, we did take advantage of the 24-hour fitness center and the indoor pool.

While the hotel has tons of accommodation options, we ended up in the King Room, which came with a sofa bed. It was modern, clean, and surprisingly spacious. The pillowtop mattress was the kind you sink into at the end of a long day, and the flat-panel TV and free Wi-Fi kept us entertained during slower moments. It wasn’t flashy, but it hit all the right notes for comfort and convenience.

Delta Hotels by Marriott Quebec

Best Location. You can’t talk about the best Marriott hotels in Quebec Canada without mentioning this hotel. The Delta Hotels by Marriott Quebec is “it”! From the moment we checked in, we could tell this place had its act together—friendly staff, modern interiors, and a location that makes exploring the city effortless. Old Québec was just a short walk away, which meant we could stroll past centuries-old buildings in the morning and still be back in time for wine at a cozy bar nearby.

One of our favorite parts of the stay was the little moments of relaxation in between all the sightseeing. The newly renovated Le Bistro served up surprisingly flavorful meals, and we ended up having both dinner and breakfast there. The year-round heated outdoor pool was a nice amenity, too. We also got in a decent workout at the gym, which had all the essentials without feeling cramped.
“Nothing beats the feeling of taking a dip in the heated pool after hours of walking.”
WOW Travel
As for the room, we had the Deluxe King, and it genuinely exceeded our expectations. It was one of the cleanest hotel rooms we’ve stayed in, not just in Québec, but anywhere. The décor was modern without feeling sterile, the bed was super comfortable, and having little conveniences like a mini-fridge and fast Wi-Fi made a difference.

Four Points by Sheraton Lévis Convention Centre
3
Best for Business. We checked into the Four Points by Sheraton Lévis Convention Centre expecting a standard business hotel, but it turned out to be way more stylish and convenient than we imagined. While technically in Lévis, it’s just across the river from Quebec City. Even better, it’s directly connected to the Lévis Convention Centre, which made our work trip feel seamless and stress-free.

The amenities made our stay feel more like a getaway. We loved the heated outdoor pool and hot tub, and the 24/7 gym came in handy. The on-site café was a great place to grab dinner and enjoy live music without leaving the hotel. Plus, the free outdoor parking was a major bonus.

Meanwhile, our Deluxe King Room was surprisingly spacious. It was much bigger than we expected. It had all the essentials: fast Wi-Fi, a big flat-screen, and a comfy work setup with an ergonomic chair. The bed was super comfortable, and we actually had space to move around, unpack, and even stretch out after long meetings.

Hotel PUR, Quebec, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

Best Value for Money. Our stay at Hotel PUR, Quebec, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, is one we will never forget. Tucked into the trendy Saint-Roch district, the hotel was the perfect launchpad for exploring both the hip local spots and the classic charm of Old Québec. We wandered out to boutique shops, stumbled into a street festival, and even caught a show at the Impérial theatre. Everything was literally just a short walk away.
In between outings, we took full advantage of the hotel’s amenities. The indoor pool was a real highlight. It was filled with natural light and just the thing to reset our energy. We also squeezed in a quick workout at the gym before heading down to TABLE for breakfast. The food hit the spot, and later in the evening, we found ourselves unwinding with a glass of wine from the lobby bar. Oh, have we mentioned the hotel also boasts a meeting space worth over 14,000 sq ft?

What about the room? Our King Room with a city view exceeded expectations. It was sleek, minimal, and surprisingly spacious. The bed was the kind you just sink into after a long day out, and we genuinely looked forward to our mornings spent lounging in cozy bathrobes, coffee in hand, catching up on work at the desk while taking in the view.

Marriott Quebec City Downtown

Best Overall. As one of the best hotels in Quebec City, the Marriott Quebec City Downtown checked all of our boxes flawlessly. First, let’s talk about the location. Nestled right by Place d’Youville, we were literally steps away from the historic Saint-Jean Gate. We walked to Le Capitole Theater in under two minutes and stumbled upon live music at Palais Montcalm without even planning it. During the Quebec Summer Festival, the energy around the hotel was electric.

Food-wise, we were pleasantly surprised by Que Sera Sera, the hotel’s French restaurant. It had a charming vibe and helped us figure out where to eat on more than one occasion. And for those trying to stay on top of their fitness routine even while traveling, the 24-hour gym came in handy with decent cardio equipment and free weights.

Furthermore, our King Room at this Marriott Bonvoy Quebec City hotel was exactly what we needed after a long day of exploring: sleek, modern, and well-thought-out. We had all the essentials: a flat-screen TV, a cozy bed, a minifridge for late-night snacks, and a coffeemaker that made early mornings a little easier. The upgraded rooms even offer access to a lounge with a fireplace, free breakfast, and evening bites, which you should definitely consider.

One of our favorite areas is Old Quebec. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is the heart and soul of Quebec City. Think cobblestone streets, centuries-old buildings, cozy cafés, and boutique hotels. You’ll be steps away from landmarks like Château Frontenac, Place Royale, and the Dufferin Boardwalk. Once an industrial zone, Saint-Roch has also transformed into one of Quebec City’s trendiest neighborhoods. It’s full of modern cafés, craft breweries, tech startups, and hip restaurants, with a more local, less touristy vibe. It’s a great base if you want to be close to the action but not surrounded by crowds. Plus, it’s just a short walk or funicular ride to Old Quebec.
Located near the Plains of Abraham and the Musée national des beaux-arts, Montcalm is often referred to as the arts district. It’s residential, peaceful, and dotted with tree-lined streets, boutiques, and good restaurants. You’ll get a more laid-back experience here, but you’re still close to Old Quebec and major attractions. It’s ideal for travelers who prefer a quieter, more refined atmosphere.
