What makes Trivago.com such a favorite is that its filters make it very easy for travelers to search and find exactly what they’re looking for. For instance, if we needed to look for a hotel room in London that came with an included breakfast and free Wi-Fi, we could easily filter our search results by applying the specific filters. In fact, some of our favorite filters include free breakfast, free cancellation (at least 24 hours before, if not entirely), distance from city center (when we’re doing a lot of walking and exploring), and parking (when we have rental cars). And when we’re really in the mood to splurge or the destination is such, like Thailand or Greece, we make sure we have a wonderful pool! Even a 24-hour airport shuttle helps, especially if you’re traveling with kids or older people.
We’ve seen some metasearch engines making us click on the individual listings to see the photographs to get a complete idea of what that hotel room looks like and offers, but not Trivago. It’s one of the only websites we’ve seen where we could see a wealth of information in the search results, including some of the most important: all photos and amenities of the hotel room you’re looking at.
