Karibe Hotel

Let’s start with the Karibe Hotel. As you can see from the picture below, this is a stunning Colonial-style beauty nestled in the quiet Juvenat area of Port-au-Prince. Getting here was a breeze, as it’s super close to the airport and they offer a free shuttle, which is a huge plus.
Our room was chic and modern, offering a fantastic blend of comfort and tech. We had a great private balcony and appreciated the little things like free Wi-Fi and the laptop safe. If you need more space, the suites are gorgeous, with the upgraded options featuring separate living rooms and even whirlpool tubs.
The amenities at Karibe Hotel, Port au Prince, Haiti, are amazing. We spent most of our downtime by the beautiful outdoor pool, catching some sun. For dining and nightlife, the hotel has an elegant restaurant and a funky bar, perfect for switching between sophistication and casual fun. Plus, having a spa and gym on-site was great for staying refreshed.

Looking for the best hotel in Port Au Prince, Haiti, with the best convenience? The Palm Inn Hotel may be what you need. It’s just two minutes from Toussaint Louverture Airport! The convenience is insane, and the Delmas 31 location puts you just five minutes from the city center action.
But let’s move one from the location. We were totally charmed by the palm-lined gardens and the random, beautiful 18th-century antique pieces dotted around. It makes the whole property feel like a lush, historical oasis.
Our spacious studio was the perfect modern cocoon, proving you can have all the contemporary comforts without losing that cool, unique atmosphere. The food and drink scene seals the deal. We loved the intimate setting and mix of dishes at The Flibuste, and the poolside cocktails at Rudy’s Bar were great, too. When you need a break from the hustle, a fitness room and a games room are waiting.

This was our second time staying at Le Plaza, and it continues to impress! Checking in felt effortless, as the staff provided such a genuinely warm welcome that we instantly felt comfortable. The grounds are beautifully maintained and really lush, creating a great, relaxed atmosphere. We also appreciated that the pool was visibly clean and consistently looked after first thing in the morning.
The room maintenance was excellent, with the space cleaned thoroughly every day. We also enjoyed several memorable meals at the hotel restaurant. While the cost is higher than you might expect by American standards, the high quality of the cuisine definitely justifies the price point. We highly recommend trying the steak in coffee sauce, as it was a standout dish, and the Creole chicken was also fantastic.
Ultimately, the combination of consistently friendly service, immaculately kept rooms, and the high standard of the food confirms why Le Plaza remains a favorite spot for a getaway. It offers a reliably high-quality experience every time.

Best Airport Transfer. Landing at the airport, we were already stressing about the transfer, but La Maison Hotel made it easy, as it’s literally just less than a mile away. Not to mention, the hotel also offers an airport shuttle service. For when we did want to explore, hitting up the Musée du Panthéon National Haïtien for some local history was easy as well.
The rooms? Super cozy! We appreciated the essentials: complimentary fast Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV, and a minifridge. Our room had these awesome little colorful accents that totally popped and made the space feel authentic and modern. On those days when we couldn’t move, room service was a huge win, and knowing that there are suites with full living areas makes it great for any traveler.
But let’s talk about the perks! Free secured parking is a huge bonus. Our favorite moments, though, were definitely spent hanging out. We loved the open-air bar. And you have to try the food at the upmarket regional restaurant.

Best Full Service. The Marriott Port-au-Prince is everything you think it is, but better! It’s this massive, full-service dream spot in Haiti, absolutely packed with every amenity you could possibly want. We lived for the complimentary breakfast, as it was the perfect fuel-up. Having two amazing restaurants right there on-site? Zero effort required, 10/10 delicious.
Furthermore, we were obsessed with the rooms. You get these incredible views and your own private terrace. We spent our mornings sipping our fruity cocktails out there, just soaking it all in. The interior design is spot-on, too. Think earthy tones with pops of vibrant, super-colorful decor. Pro tip: If your furry BFF is coming along, make sure to let them know when you book so they can arrange a pet-friendly stay.
But the fun doesn’t stop in the room. They also have a fantastic, fully-kitted-out fitness center and great spaces if you need to hop into a quick meeting. And for our fellow adventure junkies, there are tons of activities available right here or nearby, including some seriously epic hiking trails.

The initial plan was just a super quick Haiti stopover, so we booked only a night at the Allamanda Hotel. But we loved it so much we immediately hit extend and turned that fast stop into an epic three-day trip. For a hotel in Haiti, they are absolutely crushing it and went way beyond what you would expect to make our trip totally memorable.
What really stood out? The service was just amazing, and they’ve got these super convenient extras. We kicked off every morning with a free, legit full breakfast. No tiny muffins here! For travel logistics, they offer totally affordable transport to and from Port au Prince International Airport, and you can grab a rental car right there for a tiny fee.
The location is also a major win! You’re right in the heart of Petionville, but somehow, the hotel feels totally quiet and chill. Plus, we never had a single moment of worry about security. We felt 100% safe and secure the entire time we were there.

Hotel Villa Therese

Best Service. Talk about location goals! Hotel Villa Therese, one of the best hotels in Haiti, is perfectly situated for anyone who wants to hit all the spots, uptown and downtown. Stepping onto the property was a total mood shift. The grounds are so flawlessly kept, it was as if we found a secret, stunning paradise in Port-au-Prince.
Seriously, comfy is an understatement. The rooms here could easily compete with any high-end boutique hotel we’ve ever checked into. But the real game-changer was the service. It wasn’t just good, but next-level incredible. Monique at the front desk is a total rockstar and handled every tiny request effortlessly.
The amenities are solid, too. The pool is a decent size and super clean. However, you absolutely must swing by the cocktail bar. The bartender is an absolute master, and their Haitian rum punch is the drink you’ll be dreaming about for weeks. Get it!
“Service can make or break a stay, and the exceptional service here easily made ours unforgettable.”

Hotel Royal Oasis

Most Convenient. If you need a reliable, centrally located base with modern conveniences, the Hotel Royal Oasis in Pétion-Ville is the place to be. The key benefit here is the location: it sits high up, giving us a clear view of Port-au-Prince. This feature is genuinely so convenient, and it means you get a sense of the city right away.
For food, the hotel makes things exceptionally easy. Having two on-site restaurants, we didn’t ever have to leave the property. They offered simple choices, which were a Mediterranean option and a casual tapas spot. If relaxation is the priority, the outdoor pool area is spacious and practical, surrounded by wide terraces. It’s the best spot to unwind. To add, they also have two bars for convenient drinks.
For our stay, we booked the Superior Room. It was clean and modern without any unnecessary stuff. We had all the basics covered, like a flat-screen TV and crucially needed air conditioning that worked well. If it’s not big enough, you can opt for other rooms that can accommodate up to four people.
